Utility: AWDS - Map Header Editor
Version: 1.0
Games: Advance Wars: Dual Strike (US & EU) | Famicom Wars DS (JP)
 System: Nintendo DS

This utility allows you to edit the settings for all the maps in the
game (with the exception of the Combat Maps).

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

HOW TO USE:

1: Download one of the following Nintendo DS roms:
        - ARSE : Advance Wars: Dual Strike (USA)
        - ARSP : Advance Wars: Dual Strike (Europe)
        - ARSJ : Famicom Wars DS (Japan)

2: Extract the contents of the DS rom. I recommend DSBuff:
        https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/1214/

3: Open "AWDS - Map Header Editor.exe" utility.

4: Click "Region" and select the correct region.

5: Click "Open" > "Open overlay" to open the overlay.

6: Locate and open the following overlay that is located in the
"overlay" folder:
         - Japan or USA rom: overlay_0000.bin
         - Europe rom: overlay_0005.bin

7: Select a map to edit.

8: Make the required changes.

9: Click "Save" > "Save overlay" to save the changes.

10: Use DSBuff to pack the files into a ".nds" file.

NOTES:

To make things easier, when you select a map, all the WRAM offsets
are converted to the location in the overlay.

The tool can convert the Overlay offset to the correct WRAM offset.
Just enter the required Overlay offsets, and click "Convert all
OVERLAY offsets to WRAM offsets" button.

The Name Offset to use is based on the ID. If you do change the ID,
save the overlay data, and then load the overlay again. The correct
WRAM will then be displayed.

The Name Offset "WRAM" and "Overlay" will be hidden if the Europe
version is loaded. This is because the text are stored in different
overlay files:
          - overlay_0000.bin = English text
          - overlay_0001.bin = French text
          - overlay_0002.bin = German text
          - overlay_0003.bin = Spanish text
          - overlay_0004.bin = Italian text
